Bespoke Trousers Drafting - Advance Module
This course is designed for individuals with a sound fundamentals, looking to further hone their skillset in the area of bespoke trousers drafting, eventually adopting a specialty in this area that will allow them to transition smoothly into the industry.
Min/Max Participants: 3 - 5 Individuals.
Course Fees: $1180.
7 Sessions: 2+ hours per session. (Twice each week in the evenings)
Course and tools Requirement: Trousers Drafting Basic. Tailor L-ruler, tailor curve ruler, straight ruler (preferably 18-20 inches). Further information on tools will be provided prior to commencement of course.

Drafting Paper x7 (Purchasable at Venue)
Cutting Fabric of 1.5m x2 (Purchasable at Venue)

Measurement System, understanding of anatomy & posture.
Principles of ‘FIBO’ - Anatomical theory developed by Alexander K.
Development of front trousers panel.
Front panel VS front anatomy & posture relationship study.
Development of back panel.
Back panel VS back anatomy & posture relationship study.
Course Assessment for full bespoke trousers development.
Post-assessment pattern review & refine.
Laying draft and cutting on fabric.
Building for prototype for live fitting.
Live fitting, and identifying issues, pattern-grading & refining.
Build for prototype part II.
Build for prototype part II (Con’t).
Live fitting part II + Revisit course content.
Industry Q&A & How to move forward.
Course Objectives:
At the end of the course, you will be able to develop bespoke trousers pattern for various male body type. Post-course consultation support will be provided.
Receive a certificate for full course completion endorsed by The Cutting Room & HST Academy, and a cut-length fabric for your next trousers project.
